How it works
- The Brief:
We meet with you to discuss what you would like from a new design, your budget, likes and dislikes. - Site Assessment:
We assess the existing conditions of your garden, taking into account factors such as sunlight and soil conditions. - Design:
We complete a design with planting lists, and confirm a cost estimate with you. - Preparation & Planting:
We may prepare the bed in advance of planting. We source all plants and any additional items as required, and complete the planting. - Aftercare:
We can schedule follow-up visit(s) to care for plants while they establish. We also offer an optional plant maintenance plan to help you care for your new border.
Pricing
Pricing is dependent on border size and initial site condition. The cost of border development includes the following elements:
- An hourly rate for site preparation, planting and aftercare
- A single charge for the design process
- Working to a budget as agreed with you for plants and supplies
- A single charge for an (optional) follow-up maintenance plan
